6 months post op

Logan began showing symptoms again. Accidents, unusual breathing patterns, head and neck pain. If you know Logan at all you know how big of a deal it is for him to express feelings, especially outside of context. Multiple times without me inquiring he came to me and told me he hurt and would then grab at his scar.

I immediately contacted the neurosurgeon concerned about it. We had the second MRI to follow up on March 13. The MRI showed that the syrinx is still shrinking and looking great, Dr. Magge said hopefully the symptoms were a fluke, a blip on the radar if you will. Ive been keeping a notebook just in case. The MRI did worry the doc that the instability of his craniocervical junction may have gotten worse (the bit where the skull meets the spine). Our next visit is on April 24 (would have been my dads 51 birthday <3)

I got a phone call today completely out of the blue from Dr, Magge. He said that he was reviewing the images with colleagues (neuros, orthopedist) and said they showed some concerns about the stability as well. We have to schedule a set of xrays and a ct scan.
Also I don't remember if I mentioned it or not, Logans eye surgery is set for May 31.
