Logan has been in a research study through KKI (Kennedy Krieger Institute) for the past 5 months or so. He received a lot of extra therapy for free. Its done so much good for him! Since he started he's started using sentences to request things. His vocabulary has increased ten fold. His play skills have improved a ton too, as far as imitating and pretending.
We went to have his exit testing done yesterday. We had to rush out of the program early because of the surgery. We hung around the play room for a bit, Danny and Corie (My mother-in-law) switched shifts so Danny could go to work. She hopped all the kids up on sugar from donuts. My sleepy little bug didn't really excel at his testing like I thought he would. I guess thats what happens when you spend 11 hours of the day before at the hospital being tested on. Even if the standardized test scores don't show it, I see his improvements every day.
The poor boys are gonna miss Ms. Amy for sure though. Well, Logan will miss Ms. Amy, Talon will miss her big blue box of toys.
